As the
typhoon is going further and further away, the weather is getting better and
better.
Soon the rainy season will be over, and we can
welcome the summer. Don’t worry if it gets too warm because we also serve iced
coffee and iced tea!
Iced coffee fun fact!
Did you know that Iced coffee generally contains 20 percent less caffeine than
hot coffee?
So, why not try a cool iced coffee next time?
Next Rainbow Cafe will be on July 28th (Sunday) from 14:00~17:00 at the usual Bar Rosario.
Another
month has passed, so time for another Rainbow Café.
Although the weather was terrible, we are so happy to see many customers
showing up at our Rainbow Café. It was the first typhoon of the Reiwa era and
luckily not that bad.
We easily forget the bad weather inside the comfy Dista community centre and
are able to enjoy many kinds of tea and coffee while chatting and heaving fun. So,
if you want to take shelter from the rain, talk to old friends or make new
ones, enjoy a delicious coffee or delightful tea, then our Rainbow Café is the
place to be.
We organise another edition tomorrow in Kobe or you can visit us again next
month in Osaka!
The next
Rainbow Café in Osaka will be on July 27th (Saturday) from 17:00~21:00 at Dista community centre.
Rosarioにて開催です!
皆さんお待ちしております〜♪
Another
international day at our Rainbow Cafe. Today we could welcome an exchange
student from France. Her Japanese was so impressive and we could easily talk
about many topics and enjoy the conversation.
Over the
past reports, we have given some little fun facts about coffee. This time, in
order not to make tea jealous, we will give you a little tea fun fact. Here it
goes:
Did you
know that the name of tea is original from China and can be divided into two
groups? One group uses the name ‘Tea’ which had spread from China over land.
These are mainly Western countries like the UK (tea) France (thé) The
Netherlands (thee) Germany (tee)… Another group, mainly Asian countries, uses
the reading ‘Cha’. Unlike the previous group, this word spread over sea.
Portugal is the only European country that also uses the word ‘Cha’ because it
arrived in Portugal over sea from Macau.
Let’s have
some tea together next time!
The next
Rainbow Cafe will be on June 30th (Sunday) from 14:00~17:00 at the usual Bar Rosario!
Dear guests,
today is the first official Rainbow Cafe of the new Reiwa-era!
So, let us
start with the first coffee-fun-fact of the era!
You might
know the colour of coffee very well, but have you ever seen the coffee-flower?
What colour are freshly harvested coffee-beans? Wonder no longer, the answer is
here. The flowers are white and the beans are red, just like a cherry.
Maybe you
have never seen one in real life before because they are not really cultivated
here. Afrika is the place to be, with around 33 different types of coffee
plants.
Of course,
you can find some African coffee in our menu, so please try it out next time.
Tomorrow we have our Rainbow Cafe at Kobe. Our next Osaka version will be next month on June 29th (Saturday) from 17:00~21:00 at Dista community centre.
Heisei’s last Rainbow Cafe is upon us! When you think back on this era,
what good memories come to mind? For me personally, I have only good memories.
If I have to choose one, I think I would say our Halloween-event. It was the
first time for me to meet Makkuro Kurosuke. I am curious to know who will visit
us next year…
Let’s drink
coffee and tea together again in Reiwa!
Next Rainbow Cafe will be on June 30th (Sunday) from 14:00~17:00 at the usual Bar Rosario. Hope to see you there!
At last,
after many speculations, we can now officially know the name of Japan’s next
era. It is Reiwa-time! Did you watch the announcement? What do you think about
the new name?
Those were
some of the topics of today’s Rainbow Cafe.
The
announcement of the new era also means that this one has come to an end. Today
is our last Rainbow Cafe in Osaka!
Thank you for joining our events in Heisei and let’s continue to enjoy
ourselves in Reiwa!
Well, tomorrow is officially the last Rainbow Cafe, as usual, in Kobe. Don’t miss it! Hope to see you all again next month in Osaka as well on May 29th (Saturday) from 17:00~21:00 at Dista community centre.
