past reports, we have given some little fun facts about coffee. This time, in
order not to make tea jealous, we will give you a little tea fun fact. Here it
know that the name of tea is original from China and can be divided into two
groups? One group uses the name ‘Tea’ which had spread from China over land.
These are mainly Western countries like the UK (tea) France (thé) The
Netherlands (thee) Germany (tee)… Another group, mainly Asian countries, uses
the reading ‘Cha’. Unlike the previous group, this word spread over sea.
Portugal is the only European country that also uses the word ‘Cha’ because it
arrived in Portugal over sea from Macau.

spring has arrived, the weather today was rather cold and wet. We are very
grateful to everybody who faced this bad weather and made it to our Rainbow
Café. Drinking high quality coffee while talking is the best, isn’t it? Let’s
talk some more next time!
Next Niji Sabou in Osaka will be on April 27rd
(saturday) from 17:00～21:00 at Dista community center.
Welcome to the our Niji Chouchin. This was the first time we have ever organised this kind of event, but it will definitely not be our last time. You might be familiar with the term Aka Chouchin. These red lanterns can be seen at the entrance of Izakaya or bars and remind us of drinking, talking, getting together and having a good time. That is exactly what we are aiming at with our Niji Chouchin – or Rainbow Lantern – event. Just like during the Niji sabou – or Rainbow café – events, we welcome you at the DISTA building in Osaka. Instead of coffee and cake we offer you a wide range of alcoholic drinks and some snacks, just like a small, cosy Izakaya! Of course, there is also the possibility to drink non-alcoholic drinks.
We hope to see you at the next edition of our Rainbow Lantern-event!
